This Stalph workshop will be an intimate & untraditional way to honor Earth Day. With Farmer's Market season right around the corner, we will be teaching you how to use substantive fruit and vegetable waste to add living color to your textiles through a Terrazzo method of dyeing. We will be reviewing why natural dyes are the kinder option and the impact synthetic dyes not only have on our precious Earth but on our bodies as well.

At this workshop, you will specifically learn the basic fundamentals of creating textile prints! We will be reviewing required tools, materials, safety precautions & techniques to prepare you for your own future dye experiments.

As a participant, you will be bundle dyeing a 24”x24” WAZUAZ bandana. We personally use our collection of bandanas for our hair, around our neck for scarves and even as altar cloths.

This intimate workshop has space for just 14 participants. Ages 10+
