(fucking) Social Distancing

We celebrated our first wedding anniversary this week!

We scratched our anniversary adventure to stay home and (fucking) social distance ourselves. What a surreal times we are living in.  Part of us and everyone else wishes this was a dream.

One year ago we were romping the west, sharing our creations with so many beautiful souls.  Facebook Memories is certainly reminding us of that each morning with pictures of shows and shenanigans.

A handful of months later... when you think life is smooth cruisin’ down your path, shit hits the fan.  We drained our funds when we bought and converted a van in January, banking on doing home state shows, festivals and multiple tours this year.

This week, after shit started getting serious, we had to take a deep look inside and come to the realization that hurt our hearts ever so deeply.  No solo art show for WaZeil in May, no festivals, no summer tour, and everything beyond that is uncertain.  It is a huge hit.  Months of planning, organizing and preparations all down the drain.

We crafted our little hearts away all winter long and have no plans of stopping anytime soon, despite the current situation.  Creating will bring us solace.  Always & all ways.

However, our store address isn’t nomad currently.  Traveling with our boutique from state to state, being face to face is out of the question for now.  Our boutique is only on the web, until social distancing becomes a bad memory.  Our web store has always supplied us with minimal income.  We mostly rely on sales from festivals, shows, touring, being able to travel with our boutique and commission work.  With this change we plan to utilize email and social media more, to sell our creations.  We are currently accepting custom orders/commissions as well for your sewing, wood working and artistic needs.

On a bright note, spring is in full swing! Soon, the sparse nice days will be consistent, allowing us to open our windows, enjoy the fresh air and get our garden planted. We recently went foraging for White Pine & Cedar and bundled some smudge sticks for you to cleanse your spaces.  We have plenty of other new items and will continue to add more.  With the cancellation of WaZeil's solo art show, we will be sharing those new pieces of artwork virtually and accepting orders for prints.  Keep your eyes peeled!

Thanks to Shopify for being cool enough to unlock gift cards on all of their users accounts, we now have (fucking) GIFT CARDs available for purchase!

Stay safe, be well and (fucking) social distance!  We need you around when it is safe to tour again.
